My blogging experience

This semester we had to write semanal themed blogs. In my opinion this experience was so very enriching for my writing skills, among others. In general, I liked the option to write week by week about any theme, because I feel that is a very important instance to improve our english, order our ideas about the theme we want to talk and also know more about our classmates.

For me, I'm not sure if my writing skills got better than before I started to write these blogs. However, I really feel that now I have more facility to explain my ideas in a text wrote by me, besides using more english words (and its corresponding times).

I think that any interesting topics to talk about would be:
- What's your favourite music/band?
- Talk about your town/small town
- What do you change of you university?

Whatever, I feel really thankful about the blogging experience, it makes me feel that I can learn more everytime.

My Reflections over the Strike

The principals discussions addressed in the strike, are related to the national demands about the actual education. End profit, quality and free education for all the chileans students even a feminist education. There are the same demands of the past years, and -in my opinion- it seems like will never change.

Past year, the strike was ratified week by week every friday, and through this method the strike lasted about two months. Now, the strike was indefinite during his first month, but for this week it was decided back to the old method and revalidate the strike week by week. Maybe, the indefinite strike caused a low allegiance to the movement in our school.

Finally, I learnt that the national policy is analogous to university's policy. Everyone of our representatives only are asking for personal career and fame. Maybe for this we still can't win any of our demands.

A Subject you've enjoyed studying this semester

This semester I've really enjoyed to take the class of Chronicle and Interview. This subject helped to me to improve my writing style, and make it most interesting and understandable. In spite of my favourite subject is related to the theories of communication, I think that this semester Chronicle and Interview was more useful than other subjects, because the experiencie was enriching: to interview some people and from these conversations begin to write a chronicle about their experiencies was really amanzing!

The interview that I remember clearly until today, was with Victor Hugo Montoya. He was accused of planting a bomb make by an extinguisher in 2014. Then, Victor spent 16 months in custody, and the prosecution couldn't prove his involvement in the case. Finally, Victor was acquitted of the charges against him, because the prosecution never showed any valid proof.

However, that time I discovered that I really like to hear the people and their experiencies, and finally write about it. This is the most important -as I- learning in Chronicle and Interview: to understad and listen to the people, everybody has an amanzing story to tell.

A Meal I Like To Cook For Myself

Everytime I cook I try to make it easy and tasty. I always look for some new and delicious recipes to make in my house, for my family or me. Sometimes I cook for my mom or dad I feel so much pressure to do it ok, this is the reason I prefer to cook only for me. Anyway, my favourite recipe is a different way to cook spaghetti. I always like pasta, in all its preparations, but someday I saw in Tasty's Facebook Fanspage this awesome spaghetti recipe that they called "Swedish Meatball Pasta"

Well, by the first I make some meatballs and put it into the cooking pot at slow fire. When the meatballs look some cooked I add two cups full of milk, and I wait that it look like boil. Thereafter I put traditional spaghetti and I let that it cooks into the milk with the meatballs. Finally, I added 80 grams of parmesan and let it boil till it reduce.

And... It look like this. I dont took any photo the times that I cook it :(

This photo was taken in Duoc UC, Plaza Maipú. In this photography I captured the national rap singer Ana Tijoux, about august 2014. In those years I used to go out with my camera anywhere I go, and those day my best friend told me that Ana Tijoux will sing near Plaza Maipú. So we took any beers and cigarretes and decided to go to see her.

I think that I like this photo because how difficult it was to take it. I had to calculate the correct ISO, exposition and obturation with a poor level of light, almost totally dark. But I love to take it, I wanted to get the most beautiful photo of Ana these day... but I know that I couldn't get it hahaha I remember to see photographers with amanzings cameras and flashes, nothing compare with my semi-professional camera.

Anyway, I think that this photo is really beautiful, I like its colours and shadows! I tried to send this photo to Ana through her Facebook Fanspage, but I couldn't because she didn't accept privates messages and photos :(

My Pet

Vitto is my recently adopted pet. My sister found him in a Facebook post that a girl announced Vitto has been found lost and alone in Santiago streets, then she told me that a pretty puppy need help and a house. We decided to adopt Vitto about September 2015, when he was two months of life. The girl that was searching a house for Vitto told we that he will never grow up a lot, but the truth is he is every day biggest than September 2015.

When Vitto arrived to our house, my parents dislike him: they think that he was so big for our garden house; also they think that Vitto was very disordered. Well, they think right… after a while he had eaten every dad’s socks and had broken some of mom’s boots.

In spite of all him unexpected foods, Vitto is a really important pet for our family: he arrived after my other dog, Rocky, was dead. And after all, Vitto is a very important companion for my mom, my sister and me.  For my father, Vitto still is only a dog.

Every Moment Has Its Music!

My favourrite piece of technology is my Sony Walkman mp4 player. I remember that I hate to listen music in any cellphone, because the quality sometimes isn't ideal for me. Maybe I don't a music expert, but I really enjoy to listen a high quality music.

I use my mp4 player every day and every moment, I really never go out without it. I enjoy to travel to the university or anywhere listening music. During these travels I feel like I am at a music video or similar, I think that everyone has feel like this when they are listening music too.

Possibly, my life without the mp4 player would be different: a little bit sad, a kind of bored. Such the time pass very, very slow.

Why did I choose this career?

I remember (really I remember a little bit about it) when I was a child only want to travel around the world, without a profession. I was dreaming about crossing big rivers, walking dry deserts or looking at million of stars. Whatever, I never thought in any profession, any career or any job.

Maybe my first option of a career to study was photography, but for any reason I conclude to study Graphic Design. In my opinion this career don't help people or society in any case, and this make me feel worried... really worried. I passed about four years in this career, and I finally decided for Journalism.

Nowadays, I can say that I really feel gratified by the university and my professors. I feel pleased to be here and I pretend to finish this career, this is my first short-term project.

What motivated me to choose this career was the dream to teach at university, I want to work in any area of investigation, to get recognize at my profession and maybe to wirte some books. I think about how my students could like to take class with me, how they can be really happy that I am the one who teach them and how I could be proud about their accomplishments.

The Friendship

We create this logo to represent the friendship that link us. At the top, the brain represents the permanent thinking, at the bottom the beer and a handshake talk about the things that join us in our lifes.
